Folder/ Windows Explorer shortcuts

For a selected object:

• F2: Rename object
• F3: Find all files (Search
• CTRL+X: Cut
• CTRL+C: Copy
• CTRL+V: Paste
• SHIFT+DELETE: Delete selection immediately, without moving the item to the Recycle Bin. You cannot retrieve the object if using Shift+Delete for delete an object.
• ALT+ENTER: Open the properties for the selected object

Windows XP Shortcuts

• Press ALT+ENTER together to view the properties of any selected item.
• Press ALT+F4 to close the active file or folder.
• Press ALT+TAB to switch between open file or folder and program.
• Press BACKSPACE View the folder one level up in My Computer or Windows Explorer.
• Press CTRL+A to select all.
• Press CTRL+ESC to open the Start menu.
• Press CTRL+F4 to close the all active files or folders and programs.
• Press ESC button to cancel any running task.
• Press F10 Activate the menu bar in the active program.
• Press F2 to rename any selected file or folder.
• Press F3 to search for a file or folder on your computer.
• Press F5 to refresh the active window.
• Press LEFT ARROW Open the next menu to the left, or close a submenu.
• Press RIGHT ARROW Open the next menu to the right, or open a submenu.
• Press SHIFT button to prevent to CD drive to run CD automatically.
• Press SHIFT+DELETE to delete any selected file or folders permanently.
• Press SHIFT+F10 to display the shortcut menu for the selected program.
